Feature Story: Carla Fields - Fitness is a Way of Life for this WNBF Pro

Compared to many WNBF pros, 45-year-old Carla Fields was a late entrant into the world of competitive natural bodybuilding. It wasn't until 1991 that a trainer working with Carla's husband, David, noticed an intensity about her workouts and suggested that she think about competing. Only three months later, the then 30-year old was on stage at the Georgia World Congress Center, and within the year she had placed in the top two at five more shows. Later that year, she switched to fitness and hasn't looked back since. After being certified in personal training and aerobics she started her own business, Carla Fields Fitness, Inc., in Lithonia, GA.
