Today was a successful day using the
plan given to me by my personal trainer,
Carla. I worked out under her guidance
today. And I pray that I will be able to
do this (financially) for at least 8
weeks.
I ate a few too many pieces of fruit.
It's hard not to eat fruit during the
summer. Also, I had only one veggie.
I'll do better in that regard tomorrow.
Now I'm relearning how to get everything
in so I can loose weight and be healthy.
Greg got home late and decided to bake
some cookies. Everything would have been
fine if he had eaten them in the other
room. But he didn't and I smelled them.
So, I had to eat one…

Very difficult workout today. Walked
mostly. Jogged a little. But it was
another good day in monitoring my
eating. But I still can't take it easy
on the fruits. Also, I'm a little
hungry. I wonder if I'm getting enough
to eat. It's 6:25 and I just finished
dinner. Maybe I'm just not stuffed like
I usually am. I just have to get used to
eating right and eating sensibly again.
I'm not sure if I'm getting enough fat
and calories and everything else. I
don't know the value of the chicken and
fruit.
Treadmill was difficult, as usual. I
don't understand why. I got on at around
8 p.m. because I didn't really want to
do it. But I only cheat myself if I
don't. Overall, a good day. But I still
had the cookie. No big deal. I don't
want to deprive myself. I just want to
learn moderation.

It was a great day all around. But I
still had those cookies (2 today.) I am
really enjoying this program. It fits
me. It's natural. And it's going to get
me the look that I want. I've been
pretty depressed about this for about
six years. It has affected every part of
my life. Just working to get it off and
knowing I'm doing something about it
makes me feel tons better. Also, the jog
felt great today.

Got up this morning a little later than
I planned. I'm really not a morning
person. Never have been. But it was a
beautiful, cool summer morning and I
would have loved to go to the track to
take advantage of the cleaner air after
the rain yesterday. But I didn't make
it. I'm glad I didn't because Carla wore
me out today! It was rough but I'm so
excited about that. We worked those
dreaded thighs and it felt great because
I'm now one more step closer to my goal!
Also, she weighed me and I lost 2 pounds
today! And it's only been 3 days! That's
so exciting to me. This is going to
work.
I spoke to a friend of mine yesterday
about seeing a personal trainer because
she used one a few years ago. I told her
how I needed someone to help me learn to
each right and train me on weights. She
said personal trainers don't help you
eat and all of that. That could have
discouraged me if I had not already
spoken with Carla. So, I told her that
mine does the whole body, inside and
out.
Greg bought subways today for a Bible
study we were having with a friend. Be
he never remembers not to put the oil on
the sandwich. Now it's difficult to
count. I counted the fat for one entire
serving of oil because I was hungry and
I had to eat it, within reason. I only
had a 6" serving. I could have gone with
a whole foot because I was simply
satisfied afterward. It was so tempting
to get to the state of being full. But I
stopped because of the look I'm trying
to achieve. If I can loose 2 pounds
every three to 7 days, I will be so
happy.
Oh yeah. I forgot that Carla and Phoebe
both say that I have huge calves and can
easily enter a fitness show. I will
think about that after about four months
when I look in the mirror and see a
newly sculpted body. But it's a thought… |
